  1. I haven’t read this book, but I’ve seen others like it. You can definitely make money online through things like survey sites, games, etc.

The reason why people tend to think it is a scam is because they forget that even online, money doesn’t come in automatically. You have to put time into it and the return isn’t that great, often below minimum wage. From my experience it won’t support someone alone as a full time job, but as an extra supplement to income it can be a nice addition! Also, most of these sites are very flexible, so they can fit round previous work, education or child care commitments, making it a useful secondary income.

  2. People are willing to buy your time. It won’t be a lot of money but can build up.

People know they can’t get things done for nothing but they know they can get things done cheaply.

Both sides benefit if they know what to expect

  3. The internet is a great source of amusement, informations and in some cases a way to earn that little extra income that makes your life easier. I’ve been making a little bit of money on the internet by writing articles and completing surveys but sometimes it can be frustrating, especially with surveys, they often are underpaid and very time consuming. People often think that earning online is easy but as Kate said, you need to work hard if you want to have a decent income and people who don’t understand it, often give up and then complain about it. I’ve been looking around for some other way to earn online and I will read this ebook for sure. thank you!

  4. I have noticed over the last several years, that making money online is almost always a “little bit here and a little bit there”, type of deal. You can’t get rich quick by working online, unless you’ve been caught up by a scam, in which case you won’t get paid anyway. If you want to have a full-time income from the internet, you would literally have to be glued to your computer 24/7 in order to earn enough cash to pay even your smallest bills, let alone your rent or whatever. The internet, however, does provide a person with a tidy little secondary income, which can be very helpful. You just have to know where to look, which is why information such as what we have here, is very useful.

  5. I am obsessed with this kind of thing. I’m surprised that the microworker strategy hasn’t taken off yet. There are so many people sitting behind their screens looking to make an easy buck. It blows my mind that there aren’t more programs to just surf and get paid, or do surveys and get paids for more than 3 cents a survey. So much untapped potential, I feel.

  6. Making money online is like walking through a land mine. You’ll almost certainly be walking into a trap, but every once in a while, you find one that actually delivers what they offer. These online jobs though are few and far between. I have been saving up for a trip and have been looking into online jobs for some additional cash, however a lot of these money making work involve a lot of complex and often underhanded tactics. I’m still looking for a good source of additional income, but I would not bet it all on online jobs, if I were you.

    1. When I do online job searches, I keep a few things in mind as I surf the ‘web. First of all, I keep my expectations low. You don’t get paid a lot for online jobs… you just don’t. If you see something that says you will earn thousands of dollars in a week, run the other way, as it is a scam. Secondly, always do your research ahead of time. I never join a site without first checking to see if there are user reviews on it. If other users call it a scam, I’m done. The main thing to remember is that, yes, you can make money sitting in front of your computer, but no, it won’t be a lot from all in one place. You have to devote hours each day, to a lot of different projects, in order to make even a meager living. Getting to understand that concept is the hardest part, but also the most liberating, as you can more easily avoid the nonsense and get straight to the real money-making opportunities.

  7. This looks like a great opportunity to try out new income generating sites. While I have seen many money-making schemes that are ineffective, I have made a career out of legitimate work from home opportunities that pay at varying rates. Some are more lucrative than others, but ultimately, I find the diversity of my work schedule much more enjoyable than a typical 9 to 5 day.
